Q&A: Project Delays

Project delays often happen despite our best efforts, but we can avoid a great many delays by getting feedback on our draft schedule from team members and stakeholders (who can help us more accurately estimate task completion time and point out possible conflicts).

We should also try to build in as much extra time as possible, particularly ahead of inflexible dates and for dependent tasks.

And adding in an approval or review period after task completion can allow us to assign earlier task deadlines while also creating a buffer of a few days if there are delays.
