Reflecting on 2025
As a new year begins, we’re pausing to reflect on the work we’ve been privileged to support in 2025. Last year brought clients with big questions, shifting priorities, and teams that needed clarity more than ever. Through it all, we had the honor of partnering with leaders who show up with courage and a deep commitment to their communities.
Here’s a look at a few of the projects we supported last year:
Change Management Leadership
We wrapped up a partnership with a strategy consultant to support a large community nonprofit as it navigated organizational change. Our contributions included project planning and oversight, staff training and coaching, and the introduction of consistent project management processes to strengthen internal capacity.
Grant Management Implementation
We are supporting a foundation through the transition from Blackbaud to Fluxx. We’ve provided project management, served as liaison to the migration vendor, supported communications, and guided staff and trustees through training to ensure a smooth, confident adoption.
Program Planning
We advised a foundation director on building a realistic 18-month plan to advance two major organizational priorities. We continue coaching them to troubleshoot challenges, maintain accountability, and sustain forward momentum.
Agencies Implementation Planning
In partnership with a strategic planning firm, we facilitated the co-creation of an implementation plan for a cooperative network of regional public agencies, helping leaders translate strategic direction into actionable, shared steps.
Sustainable Project Practices
We worked with a growing nonprofit to assess its project environment and define a sustainable approach to project management as the organization scaled. We led the adoption of Asana, including developing templates and dashboards and providing training that equipped staff with practical tools to work with greater clarity and consistency.
Project Environment Assessment
We facilitated an organization-wide assessment of a nonprofit’s project environment and ways of working, resulting in actionable recommendations to help build project management capacity and improve collaboration across teams. We’ll continue working with them in 2026 to support the implementation of our recommendations.
Customized Project Management Training
We developed and delivered customized training on core project management skills for several clients, including creating a 10-module virtual program for virtual assistants to build their project management capabilities.
Leadership Development
We designed and facilitated leadership development trainings that helped emerging and experienced leaders strengthen their ability to guide teams, projects, and organizational processes. Our work included delivering an intensive Mid-Career Leadership Program for a regional association, creating space for reflection, skill-building, and renewed confidence.
Across every engagement, we were reminded of something essential: From confusion, clarity rises. And when clarity takes root, teams step into shared ownership and forward motion.
